A Big Deal To Me!

I know this probably seems a little over the top to some, but this is a picture of Maycie today! This is the first time she has pulled herself up to the side of her crib! This is something that ALL of my other kids had done months before now. I have learned at Physical Therapy that the Tortocllis has affected all of her muscles from her neck all the way down to her legs. It delayed all of her large motor skill development. All the way from rolling over to this. Just when we think we may need to worry or up the Physical Therapy again she pulls it out of her hat and starts doing what ever it is we are worried about. This is no different. We go back to Physical Therapy on Wednesday and so that we don't worry she starts pulling herself up! What a little turkey! At her 1 year well check our pediatrician asked if she will wave when she wants to. I said yes she will but the when she wants to is the key! Maycie does not do anything until she is good and ready! I'm just glad we have had so many good people to help us along the way! Thank you to everyone for all of your wonderful support!
